Omniply’s Clean Technology Aims to Create Sticker Electronics for OLED Displays and Sensors

Montreal, Canada, July 30, 2020: Omniply Technologies the creator of flexible sticker electronics, today proudly announced that it has received funding from Sustainable Technology Development Canada (SDTC). SDTC focuses on helping Canadian Entrepreneurs accelerate the development and deployment of globally competitive clean technology solutions.

Omniply a Canadian start-up backed by TandemLaunch is enabling the future of flexible electronics. Spun out of Stanford and Purdue University, Omniply’s patent protected, revolutionary delamination technology enables the fabrication of flexible displays and IoT sensors. Aiming to bring innovate new applications to market by improving the, performance, reducing the costs while making an environmental impact. Billions of mobile devices and trillions of IoT sensors using Omniply technology can reduce their carbon footprint while achieving faster throughput and performance.

Omniply has created a sticker electronics platform to enable companies to design and fabricate thin film technology by utilizing traditional semiconductor manufacturing process.

Omniply is focused on enabling bendable, foldable, and rollable flexible OLED displays and SDTC’s grant will enable Omniply to accelerate the commercialization of its technology.”

Omniply transitioned from R&D lab to build a prototype OLED display, last year. The company is currently fund raising, working with top tier OEMs to bring its unique technology to market.
